The Information Technology Curriculm now includes an important element of teaching children how to program a computer.
Code for Kids is a fun way to learn how to program using a Raspberry Pi credit-card-sized single board computer with all the speed and computing power of a modern computer. Using a universally adopted school based learning program called 'Scratch' (child friendly Open-Source software) you can use characters created in Robot Relays and Toy Hacking to create your own sprite game characters and use 'Scratch' to animate and create your own Toy Story. To see your creations blown up to monstrous dimensions your character could end up integrated into an interactive animation projection installation that will project onto a wall sized screen.
